The Program |
The author, Patricia Stahl,
is a former first grade teacher who has taught both basal sight programs
and phonetic programs.
The BUILDING BLOCKS TO
READINGTM program was developed
from Ms. Stahl's classroom experience to help guide classroom teachers, resource
teachers, and homeschooling teachers in the process of teaching beginning
reading. The BUILDING BLOCKS TO
READINGTM program teaches CVC
short vowel pattern words first and includes daily writing dictation
skills.
Daily dictation and writing skills are 50% of the
program.
